How much is installation?\u00a0 <\/strong>Standard installation is $99.
<\/strong><\/p>

Is there a contract?\u00a0 <\/strong>There is no annual contract.<\/p>

What does standard installation include?\u00a0 <\/b>Standard installation of a small antenna, mounted to the outside of your home or business. A cable will be installed from the outdoor antenna, to the location where the customer provided WiFi router is located. Attic\/crawl space, wall fish work, larger than normal antennas\/mounts and customer equipment configuration beyond the WiFi router are not included. Any additional costs will be discussed before installation.
<\/b><\/p>

Who owns\/maintains the equipment after it is installed?\u00a0<\/b> The outdoor antenna\/radio are, and shall, remain our property. Should our equipment need to be repaired\/replaced, we will do this at no cost to you! Customer caused damage to the installation\/equipment will be billable to customer. Upon cancellation of services, customer is responsible for returning our equipment in good working order.<\/p>

What WiFi router do you recommend?\u00a0 <\/strong>For most homes, we recommend\u00a0 WiFi 6e (AX) or WiFi 7 (BE). As with most electronic items, you get what you pay for, so the lowest price unit may not give you the performance and reliability you want. If you have a large home(more than 1500Sq. Ft.) the\u00a0 TP-Link and Eero mesh system works well.<\/p>

Why should I choose Great Lakes High Speed as my internet service provider?\u00a0 <\/b>Great Lakes High Speed is locally owned and operated network designed to give you fast, reliable internet access. We don’t require you to ‘bundle’ your internet service with extras you don’t need!<\/p>

Is your service satellite internet? <\/b>No. We use terrestrial tower locations, which are thousands of miles closer than satellite, to provide signal to your home with less delay.<\/p>

What is the Great Lakes High Speed customer data privacy policy? <\/b>Our policy is simple. We retain\/share only the information necessary to maintain our provider\/customer relationship and that allows us to comply with local,state and federal law. We do not sell customer data to third parties.<\/p>

Why don’t\u00a0 you provide an exact speed for monthly plans? <\/b>Because we operate a wireless network, available options vary by each location, rather than quoting a number that is artificial or unattainable. We will only install service that is going to be fast, reliable and that meets your needs.<\/p>

Great Lakes High Speed is a WISP. What is a WISP or Wireless Internet Service Provider? <\/b>We use fixed wireless broadband technology to deliver high speed service, wirelessly as opposed to through buried cables. Typically, a small antenna is placed on your home or office that receives a signal from our towers nearby. The connection from your home\/business and the tower allows for fast, secure and reliable service via a fixed wireless connection.<\/p>

Do you offer an annual service option\/discount? <\/b>Yes! If you would prefer to pay in advance for a year, you will receive 1 month free! (pay for 11, get 12).<\/p>

What is your network\u00a0 management policy? <\/strong>We follow standard industry best effort practices for Internet delivery with respect to allocation of capacity among applications, providers and sources. Generally accepted technical measures to provide acceptable service levels to all customers will be used by Great Lakes High Speed, such as application neutral bandwidth allocation, as well as measures to address service attacks, illegal content and other harmful activities to protect network integrity and reliability.<\/p>
